Coachella 2025: A Fashion Review

Coachella is back! Attendees waited up to 12 hours in their cars to access the site over the first weekend and endured record-breaking temperatures peaking over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. But it was all worth it as weekend 1 began with a bang.

Lady Gaga dominated, both in performance and in fashion. She sported a feathered look and donned bird claws for hands. Over two hours, she performed a four-act theatrical-like show, playing with dark and light elements and engaging like only Gaga can.

New beginnings were in the air. Addison Rae, wearing a flowy gown from Chloe, performed with Arca onstage. At the end of her set, she had “June 6th” written on her costume, effectively announcing the release date of her new album.

Charlie XCX had some help to sing her album “Brat” which won a Grammy earlier in the year. Billie Eilish sang “Guess” with her, while she and Lorde performed “Girl, so confusing”.

And then there was the fashion, and it was over the top.


British singer Lola Young, with her new hit “Messy,” had on a furry bikini top and matching hat.

Benson Boone had on a shimmery Dolce & Gabbana jumpsuit as he joined Queen’s Brian May for a cultural revival at its finest.

       K-Pop represented fashion statements with Blackpink’s Lisa, well known from the show White Lotus in a reptile-like full body suit. Lisa even referenced her White Lotus fans, “...you might be surprised to see Mook on stage,” she said. “This is her when she’s not working, you know?”

As Coachella weekend 2 kicks off the temperatures may be coming down but there is no doubt that the music and fashion will not disappoint.
